Bay View Resort Hotel Namibia

The Bay View Resort Hotel was exceptional and exceeded all of our expectations. When you first arrive you'll be stunned by the incredible, unobstructed view from every area of the Resort including your room! The staff went above and beyond for anything we needed including assisting in scheduling activities, visits to Swakopmund, airport transfer, and more. The room was clean with great ocean views and comfortable furniture. The restaurant on site, Salt, and the 6th floor Bar were delicious. We enjoyed several meals and sunset drinks - all exceptional. The location is ideal between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund allowing you to explore both areas easily. We looked forward to returning to the Resort each evening from our daily activities. We enjoyed walks on the beach, cocktails on the green, watching the ships headed to the port, and the spa. The team at Bay View Resort Hotel made our trip one to remember and one we hope to have again soon!

A Special Shoutout to the Superstars! 💫 Luciano (Concierge & Guest Relations) – He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, always available to assist and offering fantastic recommendations! 💫 Gabriel (Driver) – A kind and humble soul who not only ensured smooth transfers but also gave us an insightful deep dive into Namibia’s rich culture and history. He even introduced us to Kapana (a must-try local delicacy)! But the excellence didn’t stop there—the entire team was phenomenal! From housekeeping, to the barmen at the Skybar, the amazing waitstaff at Salt Restaurant, to the groundsman ensuring our cabana was perfectly set up—each and every person made our honeymoon unforgettable.

Our room was very spacious (more like an apartment, including kitchen) with a beautiful view on the ocean, including sunset!

My room was on the 5th floor with a complete sea view. It was gorgeous. The room itself was great, big spacious and very comfortable with kettle, microwave and refrigerator. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and accommodating, both in reception and restaurant. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast is part of the package and was generous. Other meals were not included but I ate lunch there every day and had really great food every meal. The hotel is half way between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. If you fly in, the hotel offers a shuttle service back and forth from the airport that is not expensive. They also offer complimentary shuttle service three days a week to Swakopmund. If you like peace, quiet, solitude, this place is for you. You have the sea on one side, stunning, unspoiled beaches that go on forever, and endless desert, sand dunes on the other side. This is the perfect place to get away from the bustle of city life, breathe fresh air, hear the ocean, walk the beaches and unwind. Apart from two petrol station stores, that are fairly well stocked, and not expensive, you will find no other place to spend your money. I loved every minute of my stay, was sad to leave and will definitely go back, soon!
